A sports massage appointment will begin with an assessment of your needs. Then I will use a range of different techniques, for example deep tissue massage, myofascial release, and assisted stretching.
I will also talk to you about stretching and strengthening exercises to do at home
Some of the many benefits of sports massage are:
1. Increased flexibility and range of motion in the joints.
2. Eliminate the build up of lactic acid in the muscles which causes muscle soreness.
3. Help to prevent injury by keeping muscles, tendons, and tissues in peak condition.
4. Aid recovery by stimulating and increasing blood flow to joints and muscles.
